Our hands-on clients in Pagosa Springs, Colorado continue their work finishing this olive model. (Pics updated 2/18/19)
As the marketing guru for Timberbuilt I rarely get a chance to visit our job sites but a few weeks ago I passed through Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where our DIY clients, Andy and Diane, hosted me for an overnight with dinner, drinks, and a walk-through of their project to date.
I helped assemble the timber and panel package with our field team last summer so it was great to get a first hand look at how the home has progressed since them. Even with unfinished floors and temporary countertops the house has a soothing, balanced vibe to it. Hopefully I’ll pass through here again. Industrious, inspiring clients, beautiful part of the country, great home.

It’s always great to hear from Andy and Diane. No surprise to see Andy in these photos — both of these two are non-stop workhorses (Diane runs the saw, not just the camera).
Can’t wait for the next update.

It’s tough to leave awesome clients and all of that southern Colorado sunshine in our rear-view but our build in Pagosa Springs is complete. Diane and Andy couldn’t have been more fun to work with and we’re excited to follow along as they attack their remaining tasks.
They have a ton of choices ahead — everything from windows and doors, to roofing materials, siding, flooring, and decorating. We’ll keep you updated as they move forward.
Knowing them, they won’t be dragging their feet.
Not only were they generous hosts but after watching them work over the past couple of weeks we found them to be energetic, resourceful, and driven.
With two strong personalities, it’s hard to even imagine what this front-entry Olive ends up looking like.
We’ll circle back in the future and keep you posted…
Timberbuilt’s main design section has a dedicated Olive page that includes layouts, dimensions, 3D models and more pics.

The Timberbuilt family is spreading far and wide.
Our current Colorado clients (Andy and Diane) visited our team last year while we were constructing another Pagosa Springs project for customers Tim and Lisa.
The four have stayed in touch since then and now things have come full circle.
Lisa (from last year) visited our job site this week and invited Andy, Diane, and our field crew to dinner at their almost completed Timberbuilt home. The guys who had worked on the project were excited to see how it looked and they were not disappointed.
Thank you all so much for taking care of our men in the field. This stretch of work — running from New York to Colorado (and soon to South Dakota) — is a grind. Lots of the comforts of home are put on the back burner and the focus is on job site workmanship and efficiency. So when our guys get a chance to eat a legitimate home cooked meal — with condiments and veggies! — it goes a long way towards invigorating them for the long haul.
Thanks so much for the outpouring of appreciation (and beer). It’s so satisfying to know that Timberbuilt is making connections between people and expanding our family throughout the country.
Andy, Diane, Lisa, and Tim — you guys are the best!

Customers driving pegs through timber joinery is always a good sign.
Since the New York crew arrived our team is back at full strength. The build here in Pagosa Springs, Colorado is progressing just as expected. Our clients have been extremely industrious, framing and decking the back porch, working alongside us every day under the high summer sun.
So far we’ve counted four clouds that have passed between us and that big ball of flaming hydrogen.

Our 3-man team in Colorado towed our trailer over the continental divide at Wolf Creek Pass and settled into the build site in Pagosa Springs.
The project is moving along and the guys have adjusted to the high mountain altitude (and sunshine).
These are our kind of clients — they’re living in a pop up trailer in the shaded corner of the property, working on building their garage and bringing the guys refreshments at the end of each day.
More pics as the progress continues…

Next summer we’ll be building back in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Here’s a few specs of the project from our budget set of drawings. This house is a front entry Olive — one of our more popular homes.
