When a guy as quiet as Dan talks, people listen.
It doesn’t hurt that he’s been with Timberbuilt for 15 years or that he cut his teeth crafting our most intricate joinery for a decade. A master woodworker with a watchmaker’s attention to detail, Dan’s been called on to handle any unusual shapes or custom details that our projects sometimes demand. He’s also our guy for furniture, cabinetry, and finish work in our own homes and our newly rebuilt shop.
Nowadays Dan runs our primary field crew and is responsible for assembling all of the timbers and panels at your job site. In addition to organizing and running the project, he’s also the team’s heavy equipment operator — a massive responsibility since he’s often trying to gently move thousand pound building elements through very tight spaces.
There isn’t much Dan hasn’t seen. When his guys are tasked with working long hours in extreme conditions, they’re prepared to independently handle any challenges that arise. Dan’s background and his unique skill set combine to make him extremely resourceful. If there’s a problem and a Home Depot nearby, consider it solved.
Dan helped create our process and his systematic methods are the basis for all of our efficiencies in the field. He leads by example, with a high-motor pace and a contagious work ethic, which is why his guys are always hustling around so fast. From a distance you’d be hard pressed to pick out the team leader because Dan is as much a part of the grunt work as anyone.
Sure you may find him lounging in his office…
… but the truth is that Dan sets the pace by outworking everyone in sight.
He’s Timberbuilt’s endurance athlete, equal parts marathon runner and power lifter, Dan may be our company MVP. Inspiring to work with, detail driven, and dedicated to getting it all done right — in short, Dan’s the man!
